yesterday, we had to arrive in school at about 7.00am. i came with a huge box in my hand.couldnt even close the car door properly.it was a little embarresing though.haha.
we entered the school maybe at 7.05. anqi helped me carry the plastic bag of files i was carrying.:) kelly came shortly after when clara was giving her speech about the conference. kelly said that 1 school already came. 4 guys to be exact.the reporting time was supposed to be at 7.30, but they came at 7.10? eunice came in later and said that mdm khoo was stalling them for a while. almaas and lois went to entertain them while everybody was rushing to get the things to manage the booth and all. all schools arrived by about 7.50. chrystal had most of the schools that were coming. and when they came, as me and kelly din have their names, we had to slot them into different groupings. that was a rush.embarressing too.there was this guy who din seem pleased at all with me, because i couldnt tell him his grouping after 10 minutes.
mrs carmee lim came early, in this maroon 6 seater car i think.haha. everybody was like..shush shush. eunice went to welcome her. ...
just a few minutes before mrs lim went in, lian ping and i went to give out some files to the guests as some of them werent given their files at the booth.
mrs carmee lim's speech was great. she was the former principal of RGS. her speech was like in a form of a lesson. she is still active for her age.plays tennis too.we rounded up her speech by singing 'oh singapura, oh singapura'..haha she made us sing twice. the second coda, she asked us to sing it slowly.it was great! lois and almaas was hyper throughout the session.haha
after this session, games com took over. eliza explained the stimulation game rules and outline. we later split into our groupings.PAZ!!ethel keep ending up without a seat when we played the icebreaker game. she had to do this forfeit during the game,which almaas sugguested and found it super funny, the same thing i did when i was a POP. it was unforgettable ok. i had to run around these few trees at East Coast Park saying "i was a fairy" and on lookers were laughing like mad. it was silly.. she ended up doing that, running around our circle 3 times.
during the stimulation game, we were the thailand rice export. i really din know what was going on. firstly, someone said that our ship had collided into the stagnant oil ship..what joke.we were typing out our emails slowly. i think they should use letters on papers instead. it was better than emails, we ended up as the victims of everybody.they all wanted to sue us to bankruptcy.haha. but as the overall debriefing was really funny.each group was shooting each other like what would happen during a debate.aha
we then went out of the studio to do our preparation for the debate. instead of doing that, my group spent 45 minutes digressing.
we had probably 45 minutes of phototaking.we took each groups's one, 2 shots each.then we spilt into 3 groups guest prefects, our school prefects and the pops. the guest prefects took first, they spent quite some time arranging themselves into their heights, in 2 groups, males and females. while our school prefects were arranging ourselves into our height. qin -laogon was sick. so i wanted to stand beside her. kim was like tellign almaas notto break us the couple up.haha. the head and vice head had to do the phototaking with the guest. they ere already horrified as they had took 12 times so far .dunno why, mdm chee also called me and xinyun up. so we ended up taking together.4 times for me for the guest prefect photos. we 4 escorted them to eat their buffet lunch in the canteen, while our school prefects arranged themselves to take photos. mdm khoo made an announcement for the head and vice head prefect to go to the foyer to take photo.hiazz.tot can skip this phototaking. in total, i had took 12 shots altogether. my record for this year.haha
lunch was SUPER GOOD!! it was much better than sec 1 orientation food.ahh.it was just heavenly.haha
the debate was like WOW. the opposition were held by the raffles schools. RI and RGS. they were so professional. while the proposition team was by tanjong katong sec, telok kurau sec and geylang methodist. comparing myself to the winner of the debate, the raffles girl, i feel really inferior.that was a good stand she made.wonder would i be able to do that.eeeks. she forgot to bring home her jean yip voucher.haha. so now we have to mail it to her school.
some schools were also saying" hey, you better don break the souviener ah.".." then you don hit my bag lah!"haha. so funny.
it was a wonderfull day. we ended it with 2 tkgs cheers. they were like covering their ears when we screamed!haha.sharan said it was really frequency be in tune.aha
